MADCUP with the official collaboration of the Atlético de Madrid Academy, the Community of Madrid and the Royal Football Federation of Madrid (RFFM) is an ambitious project around a major grassroots soccer tournament, male and female, which was born with the aim of becoming in a few years the most important international tournament of its kind in the world.
The central venue will be the Wanda Sports City in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), a town declared World Heritage City by UNESCO in 1998. The remaining venues will be located in the area of the Corredor del Henares.
Depending on the health situation at the time, a ceremony to celebrate the Tournament will be held at the Wanda metropolitan stadium, one of the most modern and sustainable stadiums in the world, where all the teams and players will be present.
MADCUP is a sporting event that encompasses much more than soccer.
Through this project, the organization promotes and enhances sports and family values among players, families, and coaching staff.
In addition to encouraging sporting attitudes such as fellowship and respect for the referee, MADCUP is an initiative that promotes family values.
